where online can I get coupons to dining restaurants?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

where online can I get coupons to dining restaurants? I mean coupons I don’t have to pay for. Coupons for places like Chili’s, Olive Garden, Applebees, etc.

The best way is to go to a restraunt’s website and subscribing to their emails of free offers. Like i get a coupon from Dairy Queen every once and awhile and they are free and it’s usually buy one get one free. Same with sweet tomatoes. Good luck!

If you were at a good restaurant, and another customer complains aloud that the menu is expensive….?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

… would this interfere/bother your dining experience? Or would it not matter at all?

Yes it would bother me.

Most reasonable people who choose to dine at a good restaurant have a rough idea of the prices and can either accept them, or dine somewhere else.

I would be very disturbed if another patron of the restaurant was complaining about the expense of the meal. It shows poor manners and is disruptive to both the restaurant’s staff and other customers’ quiet enjoyment of the experience.

It seems to me that it is those who can afford it the most are the ones who complain the loudest about prices. To them I say: "Go eat at MacDonald’s".

What dining venues are complimentary on Royal Caribbean?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

I know the grills, main dining room, and buffet are usually included. I am sailing on a Voyager Ship. Are dining options on the Promenade included in your ticket price (such as the Cafe Promenade, Pubs, etc)?

Yes cafe promenade is included in ur cruise! But all of the specialty restraunts, and bars r im afraid not included!

But trust me between the buffet the dining room and cafe promenade u will be very stuffed :D !

Have a great time! Voyager is one of the best out on the ocean!

What’s a good fine dining restaurant in downtown Detroit on a Saturday night?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

My boyfriend and I will be spending our three month anniversary in downtown Detroit on Saturday night. We’re looking for a nice fine dining restaurant (or any restaurant that is not casual dining) to dine at. We’re both traveling on the cheaper end. Any recommendations? Also, any recommendations for a fun spot for saturday night that is gay friendly?
Something that has a blind tasting menu with 5 courses or three courses would be preferred! with nice view and romantic.

Saltwater at the MGM Grand casino is a spectacular Michael Mina restaurant.

How can I make my Sims dine at the same table?

Posted on September 29th, 2009 by admin

I have the Sims 2 and all of the expansions. Whenever I take my family to a restaurant they don’t sit at the same table. They are always seated at different tables and cannot move to one another. Help please?

When you go to a restaurant have one Sim form a group with the others in their party. When all the Sims you want to dine out with have blue dots above their heads, ask to be seated. They should all sit together. You can also call and invited a group on an outing and they should sit together once the main Sim is seated and ready to order. This also works on a date.

What do you thank of this here poem?

Luv from a Distance

I watch ye brush ya hare,
I see you choose yer clothes,
My heart goes pitter-patter,
You got the cutest little nose.

I watch ye lock yer door,
I see you in yer car,
Yer all I ever dreamed of,
Ye lost a hubcap off ye tar.

I foller ye to ye momma’s,
watch ye hug her nack,
I see ye buyin groceries,
baggin ‘em in a sack.

I see ye at tha jim,
I luv to watch ye jog,
I went down to tha auction,
And bought a brand new hawg.

One day you’ll be mine,
Ain’t no doubt in ma mind,
I’ll take ye to a movie,
Then ye’ll git wined and dined.

it’s cool

What are the best fine dining restaurants in San Diego?

Posted on September 27th, 2009 by admin

I’ll be staying in San Diego 2 miles from Sea World and wanted to know any great/unique/special -places to eat. We’ll be visiting the Zoo, Mission Beach, USS Midway, and Seaport Village. Any great restaurants in those areas? Best kept secret? We are willing to drive a little out of the way. We live in Las Vegas and would like an experience we can’t get here. Thank You!!

I’d support the answers of:

Bertrand at Mr A’s (best bet: sit on the outdoor patio on the roof early and eat off the bar menu; full dinners too expensive and food is good, not great) Go before sunset and stay a few hours to watch the sun set over the city and ocean…fantastic.

George’s in La Jolla.

Marine Room La Jolla.

Cafe at the Prado in Balboa Park…outside table on the patio if it’s a pleasant day (better for lunch/brunch or early dinner while sunlight)

I enjoy the Beach House in Cardiff for outdoor patio dining by the ocean…get there before 6 pm for early bird menu with very reasonably priced meals…I esp like their swordfish. Beautiful views.

For a really nice meal I like Vivace at Four Seasons Aviara. It’ll cost you though.

Best margarita in town: El Callejon in Encinitas.

Fish taco takeout: any Rubio’s.

It is good dining etiquette to eat the "decors" in your main menu, i.e., the carved carrot, lettuce, etc.

Posted on September 27th, 2009 by admin

I sometimes find it irresistible to eat that piece of lettuce or parsley on the side of my main course plate.

If it was on the plate it’s ok to eat it! Bon appetit!
P.S. Parsley is very underappreciated as an extremely healthy vegetable . . . or herb . . . or whatever it is!

How much spending money per week for a trip to Montreal?

Posted on September 27th, 2009 by admin

It would be helpful if the figure could include:

entry to public attractions
snacks and drinks at cafes,
weekly food shopping,
dining out in a middle of the road restaurant once or twice,
metro/bus costs from Côte Saint-Luc to Downtown

I’m going to Canada from the UK and I’ve never been to North America before lol. Many thanks in advance :)

when we travel to the UK from Canada we usually take about 1000 pounds cash (traveller’s cheques) and use our credit and cash point cards for other purchases. I would make sure that I have access to about that much in dollars (about $2000 CDN).

Check with your bank to see if you can use your debit card at Canadian cash points and shops because Canadians use their debit cards more than any other country in the world and most shops in Canada take the debit cards. Also there are many cash points around everywhere, just about every corner shop has one. If you can use your card only bring a small amount of Canadian dollars and just use the cash points.

Good luck on your holiday and safe home.
