Dine for the Charleston

I’m always paranoid that they will do something to my food if I use a coupon, because I’m thinking they will be pissed off that they think they will get less tip since the amount is less, or they’re just pissed that I’m using a coupon because they think I’m a cheapskate?

I’m a cook in a restaurant, fast casual, I personally have never spit in anyones food. Don’t mention the coupon until you’re ready to pay, AND BE SURE TO TIP!! 20% at least. Servers don’t like coupons since it takes them two more seconds with you, but it’s part of their job, generally they don’t say a word about it.

Does anybody know?

If you mean the red line addison stop, then walk up to Clark St. There are tons of restaurants to eat at. Everything from Bar Louie to Goose Island Brewery to Vines on Clark to Chen’s to Raw Bar to Matsuya. Lots.
If you mean the Brown line Addison stop, there is much less. There is an Italian Pasta restaurant East of the L that is supposed to be good.

I saw it once and I really liked it. It had a little boy in a train’s dining car. It looks like he’s already eaten but he now he’s looking at the menu possibly contemplating whether he has enough money to pay. He’s holding his little coin purse open. And the waiter is standing by just smiling forgivingly and waiting.

Is it, "Boy in a Dining Car" (December 7, 1946) for the Saturday Evening Post?

Hi I was just wondering if this Restaurant is very busy at nights. I will be dining there during the evenings and would like to have some idea as to whether or not I should make reservations first in case I cannot get a table.

I just googled the name and I read something about it being in the concourse of the world trade center…it was an article from the late 80’s in the NYtimes…So maybe it is worth some sort of money.
