Many people just starting out on their blues guitar lesson, often speculate if a better choice would be using an electric guitar. That is a very valid question since many of the great blues guitarists are seen playing electric guitar or electric acoustic guitars.
Ready for the answer? Play what you own! Evening if you’re using an acoustic, you can do pretty much anything that’s done on an electric, with the exception of a few more advanced techniques.
If you are just starting out, then you really don’t want to invest too much money in an electric guitar initially. Not until you have decided that this is the instrument and genre for you.
