We all have to beat the cold in the winter and despite wearing a jacket or blazer you will need a dress shirt that is also thicker and locks in the warmth. Some good examples would include oxford shirts and flannelled shirts.
Darker days and nights equal darker colored dress shirts. It doesn’t mean you have to be completely dull though! Any dark shirt with a touch of burgundy can add a bit more depth to an otherwise plain and dark shirt.If black or navy is not really your thing then look for shirts that are forest green in color or any shade of earthy brown.
