Start out with your diet. You shold be eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and nuts. Fruits and vegetables should be consumed with every meal since they are loaded with carbs for energy without all the calories of starchy carbs.
Also work your abs with effective ab exercises like reverse crunches. The way these are done is by laying on the floor with your legs up in the air and your knees bent 90 degrees.
Then bring your knees back to your chest and forward again for one rep. Do 3 sets of 10 when starting out.
