I would recommend Michelle’s – Great French fine dining at the beach near San Souci. Very Expensive. Great Sunset and ocean views

I have been there on two vacation trips for 2 weeks each time.
I like fine dining and when I travel I prefer hotel restaurants. If the meal is so very pleasurable I will eat there again. I go to all of the hotel restaurants at Waikiki as well as others in the area. I do not care to eat outside as the seagulls make it unpleasant (tried it at lunch one time – but only once as those seagulls will take the food off your plate they are so bold). I recall a memorable buffet once at the Holiday Inn – to this day .I have never seen a variety like that. Tried a little of everything I could the first time. That was when I discovered sushi – 1981 – have gone back there a few times. The Pacific Beach specializes in Japanese food (or did). Fine afternoon teas being served in the hotels. You can go on line & enter the name of the hotel and you will find the restaurant menu & prices. Reservations are a very good idea. I have found that Americans complain about the cost. Never heard a complaint from a Canadian (and the times I went the Cdn $ was a lot less than the American). Never heard a German complain and there a lot of Germain tourists who go there. My oldest son was married there and stayed for a week on the Island and cruised the other Islands for a week. They really loved Hard Rock Cafe. He loves all seafood so he was in glory.
You didn’t ask about Maui, the Marriot is fabulous.
