Elbows off the table. Eat quietly and with mouth closed. Dont reach across others plates for salt, water etc. Napkin goes on your lap. Bread is broken into smaller pieces, a little butter added and then eaten….dont discuss bodily functions at the tabel, or burp or anything similar. Dont say "mmm" a lot…or at all. Above all watch the others and learn from them.

Take the time to watch others as they eat and follow their lead.

On the following Answer post, read Lady Luck’s answer. It contains the rules/offenses most people notice right away.

Mosty of the suggestions on the page are accurate. Ignore Ulterior A and Peter S. Ronald McReagen is just being silly. The other posts are meant to give good advice.

Do your best and you cant go far wrong, I have traveled around the south east and never met anyone who would disgrace me at a table, be your self. you say that you have no manners, well I doubt it, but if you are convinced that you havn’t, then, well, it would appear from one of the answers you are in good company
