You won’t necessarily fail if you only have a forex pip stack plus your brain, but there are so many benefits to having your own dedicated work desk. A desk is very helpful because you’ll simply be able to maintain all your business needs there. What’s more–sitting down at a desk to do your marketing will help you feel like you are actually “doing business” when you are working on your latest IM project. The desk doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated, so long as it has a flat surface, you can use it!
It will help to see a list of things you need to do every day, but you really don’t need to schedule to the last minute. This way you can simply go down the list. They’ll be handy when all of a sudden you have some time freed-up. Try making two to-do lists. One list should be for your daily tasks: replying to e-mails, sending out invoices, tracking your finances and the tasks you want to accomplish that day before you go to sleep. The second list is for tasks that need more time to complete such as marketing activities, product creation tasks, etc. So you can just refer to the second list to fill in spaces of free time when everything else is done.
