Night sweats, sleep hyperhidrosis if your professional or nite sweats if you’re really casual, are very common and most often are not an indication of something more serious. Yet they still occur both as a result of stress and as a stress multiplier.
The unfortunate fact about the night sweats stress induces is that they tend to snowball. You get a little warm and feel a little dampness on your brow. This worries you, so your stress increases and thus so does your body temperature.
The night sweats stress causes need to have their origin distinguished, whether from anxiety, ambient temperature or some other medical factor. Thus one of the best things you can do to stop your night sweats is to just have your doctor make sure you’re not suffering from anything too serious.
Surprisingly, this alone often stops that snowball from rolling downhill. So before you grow too concerned about those pesky wet pajamas late in the night, make sure you talk to your doctor about your symptoms.
Often times, you only need to avoid certain foods or beverages in the evening to your night sweats under control. I hope most people find there is no reason to stress about that simple change to eliminate night sweats stress.
